Educational Qualifications

- Junior Engineer (JE): Diploma/Degree in relevant engineering disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Instrumentation, and other allied engineering branches.
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Degree in any Engineering discipline or Science Graduate.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics & Chemistry or Chemistry as the main subject.

Junior Engineer (JE):
- Supervising technical works
- Assisting Senior Engineers
- Maintaining railway infrastructure

Depot Material Superintendent (DMS):

Medical Fitness Standards
Positions of JE/DMS/CMA require A-3 / B-1 / C-1 standards depending on the role. Candidates must pass Railway medical tests. Note that Lasik surgery is not permitted for A-3 standard posts.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Normalized scores
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
Important: Negative marking will apply: 1/3rd per incorrect answer in the CBT. Selection for DV will be based on merit (RRB-wise).
